Hi, I’m Liz Moscarillo
I haven’t always been a therapist. I spent the first decade of my career in medical device marketing, sales, and executive recruiting, but I always felt called to something else. Increasing mental health concerns, coupled with the shortage of mental health resources, inspired me to shift gears. My goal is to be the person that I needed as a teen, as a young adult, and the counselor I could still sometimes use today. I want to bring an unbiased, supportive, and fully accepting presence to every person who walks into my office, working to find better versions of themselves. My mission is to serve Florida’s First Coast, my hometown, by providing excellent mental health services, tailored to meet your individual needs.
In preparation to work alongside you as your therapist, I completed a bachelor’s degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy, from Jacksonville University. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate (ABD), specializing in Behavioral and Substance Addiction Therapy, with a board certification in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis. I am a strong believer in using adjunctive therapies to complement and enhance individual therapy. To that end, I sought certification as a HeartMath Practitioner, a Breath Coach, a Yoga Instructor, and an Accelerated Resolution Therapist. I have been trained in effective, evidence-based treatments to help quickly alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and a variety of other mental health concerns, often related to past traumas.
I am here to help you become the best version of yourself.
